Can your dog fly in the cabin?

Yes, with conditions

Small dogs travel in an under-seat carrier.

Keep the carrier closed for takeoff, landing and crew instructions. During flight, controlled dogs may be outside it within your seat area. No bulkhead or exit seats.

What does it cost?

$100.00 each way · per carrier

This fee covers the small-pet carrier option.

The separate larger-dog option uses an adjoining-seat fare plus applicable seat fees.

Choosing a carrier

17 × 13 × 11 in · maximum

The carrier must fit under the seat.

One pet per carrier; it must be ventilated and leak-proof.

Reserve a place for your dog

Add your pet online or contact JSX before departure.

Complete the Pet Acceptance Form and tell the concierge at check-in. Maximum five pets per flight.

Is there a weight limit?

Under 30 lb · dog only

This threshold is for the dog alone.

Carrier fit is also required. Larger dogs use a separate booking option.

Decisions before you book

Complete the pet form, not just the passenger booking

JSX requires its Pet Acceptance Form and notification of pet travel. This guide covers the small-dog carrier option. The larger-dog adjoining-seat arrangement has different conditions and is not established by buying an extra seat without approval.

JSX — pet policy, small dogs

Know what the extra seat does not allow

A small-pet carrier counts as one of the two permitted personal items and must not be placed on a passenger seat. It belongs under the seat for taxi, takeoff and landing. Any during-flight handling remains subject to the policy and crew instructions.
