Who is responsible?
FlyingWithDogs.com is operated by PepperLabs BV, Netherlands, the controller responsible for the personal data described here. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@flyingwithdogs.com.
Visiting the website
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request information such as your IP address, browser information, requested address and time of access to deliver and protect the site. Our legitimate interest is operating a reliable, secure information website and investigating technical problems or abuse.
You do not need an account to read the guides. We do not ask you to submit information about your dog or travel plans to use the current guides.
Optional audience measurement
With your consent, we use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and improve our guides. Google Analytics can process cookie identifiers, pages viewed, interactions, device and browser information, referral information and approximate location derived by Google. This is not necessary to read the website.
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page visits and website performance, including loading times, page and referral addresses, and browser information. It does not use analytics cookies.
We block both measurement scripts until you accept analytics. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our website tag. We do not send your email address or name to Analytics. Refusing analytics does not restrict access to any guide.
If you contact us
We process your email address, name if provided, and message to answer questions or handle corrections and privacy requests. Our legitimate interest is responding to people who contact us and maintaining accurate information. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. Email is handled through our email service providers; Cloudflare forwards messages sent to our public address.
Service providers and international processing
Cloudflare provides hosting, security, email forwarding and optional Web Analytics. Google provides optional analytics. Our email providers help us receive and respond to messages. These services may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.
Applicable provider data-processing terms describe safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, adequacy arrangements. You can ask us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for their processing information.
How long information is kept
Your cookie choice and our configured Analytics cookie lifetimes are described above. Browser cookie lifetime is different from the retention of information already received by a service provider.
We retain correspondence while needed to resolve your request, follow up a correction or handle a related complaint or legal obligation. Technical records are retained as needed to diagnose faults, prevent abuse and investigate security incidents, subject to our providers’ service retention settings. Analytics data retention depends on the Google Analytics property settings and the type of report; aggregated reports may be retained differently from event-level data. Contact us for the retention information applicable to your request.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using the cookie settings.
Contact hello@flyingwithdogs.com. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. You can also complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or your local data protection authority.

Airline and other external websites have their own privacy practices. This notice covers FlyingWithDogs.com. We will update it when our processing changes and ask for new consent where needed.
