Small dogs can travel under the seat in front.
Keep your dog fully inside the carrier in the gate area, during boarding and throughout the flight. Exit rows are unavailable.
What does it cost?
$125.00 each way · per carrier
The charge applies to each carrier.

Choosing a carrier

Hard-sided and soft-sided carriers are accepted.
Avelo lists 17 in long, 13 in high and 9 in wide. Your dog must stand and turn comfortably; the carrier must fit under the seat.
Reserve a place for your dog
Add your pet online or contact Avelo before travel.
Space is limited and allocated first come, first served. One carrier per passenger; up to two small pets may share it.
Minimum age
8 weeks
Dogs must be at least eight weeks old.
The contract also requires vaccination.
